Welcome to The Hudson Report ,

2021 is now well underway and I believe we are officially in the Chinese year of the OX. It is said that the year of the OX brings prosperity and wellness for all of the zodiac signs.  Maybe this wellness angle is one of the reasons that the trend of green spaces is escalating. Indoor plants, office green spaces and rooftop gardens are becoming more and more common in modern architecture. The tallest vertical garden in the world, with a sky garden sitting on top, is being built in Melbourne, due for completion in 2027. The external vertical garden is expected to reach a total of 5.5 km! With a height of 365 meters. If Melbourne wasn’t already the garden state…it certainly will be now. One thing we do know is that more and more people have now realised that they can work from home and increase their work/life balance and with that comes the realisation that their environment does matter. Check out some of our latest property offerings below, that showcase lifestyle in spades, with the Avalon at Maroochydore featuring a green wall. There is nothing better for wellness than connecting with nature at some level. Beachfront properties, mountain retreats and weekend escapes are booming in popularity and part of a good financial plan involves making sure that your budget allows for leisure spending. If there’s no money for fun, you’ll be less likely to stick to your budget. Some of our original clients will remember this fun folder.

Although close to 30 years old, these budget guidelines never change and the general principle of budgeting is still the same. Yes, there are fancy apps that help you budget, but the biggest asset you can hold is your attitude and commitment... and a Hudson Financial Adviser to keep you on track.

Grow Group has worked with Hudson for many years, helping Hudson Clients. With Brisbane property selling at such a fast pace, often being purchased site unseen, we are pleased to have access to Grow’s stock for our clients. There are new developments coming that will be released in the coming months and if you are interested in being part of an email group to receive these opportunities leave your contact details here.

We thought we would showcase 2 properties that Grow has available right now in this report.

The Aurora at Maroochydore. High-end development, $6m penthouses already sold, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms for $749k. Most units have been sold and there are only a handful of tenanted properties. This is a predominantly owner-occupier building. The sunshine coast has been given a massive $20 billion infrastructure pipeline, and this, combined with the interstate migration into Queensland, makes the Sunshine coast an attractive option for the investor and the homebuyer.

The Hamilton- situated by the Brisbane River and bordered by the Royal Queensland Golf Club, it has an exclusive boathouse facility and has 600 metres of Brisbane River Frontage, a 2.5-hectare parkland and over 1.5km of walking paths and cycleways. 2 bed 2 bath $530,000

Although your Hudson adviser is not able to advise on the specific property that you may end up purchasing for your portfolio, your adviser is able to look at your property strategy, do up cash flows, check your lending capacity and work it into your long term goals and objectives. Our property partners are able to help with the rest, or alternatively, you can source the property from your own research. From a cash flow perspective, there has really never been a better time to consider property in your portfolio. Contact Hudson here if you would like to discuss further with your Hudson Adviser.
