Welcome to The Hudson Report

Our long awaited move to the ‘cloud’ finally arrived this week, and although its early days, it has been a fairly smooth transition. So what does that mean for Hudson Clients? It means extra security, more efficient planning tools and a more modern Hudson. Between the Easter break, a robust share market, a booming property market and the cloud move, April has been another busy month for everyone here at Hudson.

I’d like to introduce Michael Taylor this month. Some of our clients will already be familiar with Michael, having worked with him through Specific Property. Michael now has a diary system set up with Hudson, like the rest of the team, and is making himself available to talk to Hudson clients about anything and everything property. This is one way that we are trying to offer a higher level of service to our members interested in property. Michael is happy to educate our clients on hot spots, types of property, benefits of property, talk pros and cons of apartments vs house & land and can discuss Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane all day long! If you would like to schedule a call with Michael click here to submit a contact form. If you would like to subscribe to Hudson Property for regular property updates, click here.

Exciting news for our South Australian members and for any client who has ever visited Adelaide and fallen in love with the city.  We now have contacts for property education and property purchases in Adelaide. One of the developers we use in Adelaide has taken an old building, renovated it and they are now for sale. It’s a unique concept in typical Adelaide style. Price point $300k-$350k, 2km from the CBD. The beaches, like Glenelg, are a short tram ride away from the CBD, the Adelaide Hills, and the very cultural and laid back vibe, make Adelaide one of my favorite cities. For more information on this contact Hudson or Michael Taylor.

April started with South East Queensland in a COVID snap lockdown and has ended with Perth in a snap lockdown. The ABC shared a news story back in Feb that highlighted only 7 countries that had recorded a better coronavirus response than Australia. New Zealand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Thailand, Cyprus, Rwanda, Iceland. Australia has managed the coronavirus well but it's timely to remember that nothing can be taken for granted. This goes for our personal lives, our working lives, our health and our finances! Be proactive, make little changes that may have a big impact, look after each other and the environment, and realise that things can turn on a dime. If it’s been a while since you’ve had a financial health check, maybe now is the time. Two more months until end of financial year is upon us, how is your end of year planning going?

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the beautiful Mums out there, the fur baby mums, the angel mums, aunts and sisters.
